Dr. Kim
Born in South Korea, Dr. Kim has been living in Los Angeles since her middle school years. Her academic path began at the University of California, Davis, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology. This was followed by a year working as a Veterinary Technician, fueling her aspiration to become a veterinarian.
Dr. Kim achieved this dream by earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her clinical rotations at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University in 2021. Dr. Kim is deeply passionate about soft tissue surgery, radiology, and internal medicine.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Kim is an avid traveler and culinary explorer, enjoying global cuisines with her husband. At home, she finds joy and companionship in her Caribbean cat, Leo, a steadfast friend since her vet school days, and her dog, Haengbok (meaning 'happiness' in Korean), a resilient parvovirus survivor. These personal experiences with her pets deepen her understanding of the bonds between animals and their owners, enriching her practice with heartfelt empathy and care.
